Have you always wanted to try curling? Now is your chance! Register now for the Leeuwarden Student Sport Curling Clinic.

Curling is played with stones weighing up to 20 kg. You slide these stones across the ice floor towards the so-called “house”. When you release the stone, you can give it a spin: this is what we call the “curl”. In addition, there are people who sweep the ice very hard with a broom. This causes the ice to heat up, creating a layer of water on the ice. This allows the stone to slide longer.

The clinic takes place in the Elfstedenhal in Leeuwarden. You must report to reception at 7:00 p.m. and the clinic starts at 7:15 p.m.

If you have a sports pass, you can register via the Studentsport app. Without a sports pass, you can still participate in the workshop for only €5.00.
