Are you ready for an adventurous trail full of sports, teamwork, and surprises? Then join the Buuten Trail and take on the challenge with your team in the beautiful Buuten area of Leeuwarden & the Groene Ster.

Register as a student team
Students can register as a team of 4 people for this unique trail. This can only be done with your school email address. 

Cost: €20 per team (student rate via Leeuwarden Student Sport)

Please note: the start times will be communicated by email in the week of the event and are between 10:00 and 17:00.

The Buuten Trail is a fun and athletic trail of approximately 10 km, during which you will be challenged with 10 different challenges along the way. For each challenge, you choose the level yourself to earn points. It's all about teamwork, tactics, and fun!

You have 120 minutes to complete the route. The maximum number of points is (almost) unachievable, so making smart choices is key! This year, student teams will compete against each other.

Is 10 km just a little too much? No problem! You can opt for a 7 km shortcut along the way, skipping 3 km and 3 challenges – the fun is guaranteed.
