Together with your teammate, you’ll start in the group stage, where every team plays at least three matches. After the group stage, all teams move on to the knockout stage. The top two teams from each group advance to the Winners’ Bracket, while teams finishing 3rd and 4th continue in the Consolation Bracket. From there, it’s on to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. This means every team is guaranteed at least four matches.

Recreational or Competitive

When registering, you can choose between two levels: Recreational or Competitive. This way, you can compete at the level that suits you and your teammate best.

Going for the real title? Only teams competing at the Competitive level will battle for the title of Student Badminton Champion 2026 and have the chance to take home the coveted challenge trophy!

Equipment
Rackets and shuttlecocks will be provided. Do you have your own racket? Then you’re welcome to bring it along, of course.
