Have you always wanted to learn to dance? Discover the world of Ballroom & Latin at Dansportcentrum Saco Velt. Together with a dance partner, you’ll learn the basics of various Ballroom and Latin dances in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. No experience is necessary; this course is specifically designed for beginners.

Don’t have a dance partner yet? Then you’re very welcome to join one of the free Dance & Connect evenings on 25 September 22 ord 25. During these taster sessions, you’ll not only get to know Ballroom & Latin, but also meet other students. You’ll swap partners regularly, allowing you to find a regular dance partner for the course in a fun and accessible way.
After the introductory sessions, you can choose to move on to the full beginners’ course.
What can you expect?

The standard price of the introductory package is €75. If you have sportscard of Leeuwarden Student Sport, you pay just €60.
Start of the course
The course starts in the week of September 28. To take part, it is important that you start from the first week of lessons.
The full beginners’ course lasts approximately 7 months. There are no lessons during the school holidays.
Lesson times:
You attend one lesson per week and should preferably choose a fixed day for your lesson.
- Monday: 06:30 – 07:30 pm
- Tuesday: 06:00 – 07:00 pm
- Wednesday: 09:15 – 10:15 am
- Friday: 06:15 – 07:15 pm
- Sunday 09.00 pm – 10.00 pm
If you’re unable to attend a class, you can make up for the missed class within the same week at one of the other class times.

When registering, please indicate whether you’ll be taking part in one of the free Dance & Connect evenings. You’re welcome to attend one or both evenings.
